The Audiologists
Services at Northwestern Audiology are conducted by audiologists holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as well as a Master's, AuD, or PhD in Audiology. Each audiologist is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Students in the Northwestern Doctor of Audiology Program may also be involved in evaluation and treatment at this facility.

Dr. Tracy Hagan earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University and her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Michigan State University, where she also received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications. She joined the faculty at Northwestern University focusing on pediatric audiology. She is currently the Clinical Education Coordinator, working as liaison with the off-campus practicum supervisors and supervising students. She began her career at the Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center in Tampa, Florida. She worked at the Northwestern University Audiology Service in Chicago and then became the director of audiology at a north suburban ENT practice. She then went on to work for a major hearing aid manufacturer. Most recently she provided hearing and balance testing for nursing home residents throughout northern Illinois. She has a great deal of experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting, and pediatric audiology. She is licensed in the state of Illinois and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology. |

Dr. Lowery Ann Mayo received her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Audiology from Northwestern University. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Mayo’s areas of interest are rehabilitation with hearing aids, vestibular evaluation and tinnitus management. She is licensed in the state of Illinois and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology. |

Dr. Diane Novak earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University and her Master of Science degree in Audiology at Gallaudet University. Dr. Novak has been an audiologist at Northwestern since 1998 and she is currently the manager of the Audiology Clinic. Dr. Novak enjoys all areas of audiology with a special interest in graduate student development, hearing aids and rehabilitation. She is licensed in the state of Illinois and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Illinois Academy of Audiology. |
