About The Clinic
The LLC provides high-quality assessment and treatment for adults who would like to improve their ability to hear clearly, especially under difficult listening conditions. The clinic also serves the needs of school-age children for whom reading poses learning challenges. To serve these groups, the clinic has developed approaches grounded in scientific research and customized to meet individual client needs. In addition, the LLC provides graduate training for future researchers and clinicians in the fields of hearing, language, learning, and neuroscience.
The Listening and Learning Clinic is operated by distinguished scientists and clinicians at Northwestern University under the leadership of Nina Kraus, PhD, Hugh Knowles Professor in the Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Neurobiology and Physiology, and Otolaryngology, and director of the Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory.
