Beyond NU
Stay connected with the School of Communication after you graduate.
If you live in New York or Los Angeles, you can maintain your connection by joining the Northwestern University Entertainment Alliance (NUEA), the largest School of Communication Alumni group:
If you live or travel through Chicago, you can volunteer your time by providing career advice to students at the annual Career Night panel.
As friends and alumni, you can also play a key role in helping us engage. Alumni often have connections that open real world doors for our students and faculty. You may provide an internship opportunity through our internship program, help with strategic planning and assist us in identifying needs and opportunities in the communities we serve. And, of course, financial contributions from friends and alums are essential if we are to continue our many worthwhile projects. For more information on supporting the school, see the
The School of Communication Alumni Board consists of Chicago-area alumni who assist the School in counseling and mentoring undergraduate students about careers in communication and the performing arts. Membership is by invitation from the Dean, and members serve two renewable three year terms. The Board meets once each quarter during the academic year and holds additional meetings as they are needed.
The Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA) is dedicated to fostering a mutually beneficial and enduring relationship between Northwestern University and all of its 160,000 alumni. The Association sponsors alumni clubs, travel, career networking, and continuing education.
The opportunities to stay connected with the School are only bounded by your imagination and interest. Let us know how you would like to be involved, and the School looks forward to continuing the conversation.
