Celebrating music theatre and Dominic Missimi

Northwestern University celebrates music theatre and Dominic Missimi's 30 years of service at a star-studded benefit performance that will create the Dominic Missimi Fund for Music Theatre.

Featuring the talents of:

Gregg Edelman (C80), star of Broadway’s City of Angels, Wonderful Town, 1776, and Les Miserables

Heather Headley (C97), Grammy-nominated recording artist and star of Broadway’s Aida and The Lion King

Brian D'Arcy James (C90), star of Broadway's Time Stands Still and Shrek The Musical

Kate Shindle (C98), Miss America 1998 and star of Broadway’s Legally Blonde

Also appearances by the 2010 Waa-Mu cast, the cast of the Theatre and Interpretation Center’s production of The Who's Tommy, and a host of celebrated alumni and other star performers, including Rick Boynton, Theresa Brancaccio, Mary Ernster, Melissa Foster, Ray Frewen, Barbara Gaines, Larry Grossman, Kurt Hanson, Bob Heitzinger, Heidi Kettenring, Michael Mahler, Beckie Menzie, Marie Michuda, Roger Mueller, Ryan Nelson, Fred Ockwell, Stuart Oken, Doug Peck, John Reeger, Hollis Resnik, Alene Robertson, Marc Robin, Alan Schmuckler, Paula Scrofano, Jill Shellabarger, Billy Siegenfeld, Bernie Yvon, Janette Zilioli, and many more.

The Dominic Missimi Fund for Music Theatre will be used for needs of the Music Theatre Program and its students. Funds will establish a music theatre media library, assist students participating in the Senior Showcase in New York, bring guest artists to campus to work with students, and more. Gifts to the fund are tax deductible. Gifts of $100 and more entitle you to a seat at "Starry Starry Night."
