The School of Communication welcomes the Class of 2015

September 20, 2011

It's a record-breaking fall for the School of Communication. The school welcomed 246 new first-year students to campus this week—the largest incoming class of freshmen in the school's history.

Nearly half of these new students—120 in all—will study in the school's renowned theatre program. The Department of Radio/Television/Film adds 68 new students; the Department of Communication Studies adds 41. The school's small, exclusive programs in human communication science, performance studies, and dance gained eight, six, and two new students, respectively.

The Class of 2015 and new graduate students and faculty members were greeted at the second annual School of Communication Picnic on Sept. 19.
