Download and complete the CWMP Application [pdf] and CWMP Statement [pdf] return it to the Radio/Television/Film Department Office (Annie May Swift Hall, 1920 Campus Dr. Rm. 217) 12 p.m., FRIDAY APRIL 10.  Semifinalists will be notified by Friday, April 24. After interviews, finalists will be notified by Friday, May 1.

Include with the application:

  1. Ten (10) pages of original work, typed.  No adaptations.  Material to be considered may include short fiction, plays, and screenplays.  A single work, or excerpts.  Screenplay and play pages should be properly formatted; short fiction should be double-spaced (approximately 23-25 lines per page). (Please no poetry or journalism. The committee has found this type of writing not as helpful in determining successful candidates.)
  2. A one-page essay (maximum 46 lines single-spaced) describing why you wish to participate in the Program.
  3. PLEASE NO SPECIAL FOLDERS, BINDERS, ETC.  Single sided, single column, 8 ½ x 11 stapled paper only. (Applications are copied for committee members, so binders, etc. just get in the way.)
