Debra Aron is Principal and Managing Director of Navigant Economics and has been engaged in regulatory economics and policy matters, merger analyses, valuation assignments and competition analyses. In the regulatory arena Aron has served as an expert witness in numerous matters relating to the development of competition in regulated and emerging markets, pricing, investment in new technologies and economic cost analysis. Prior to joining Navigant Aron was a director at LECG and a member of the faculty at Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management where she taught pricing strategy and economic theory. Aron holds a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago, is a former national fellow of the Hoover Institution, and is a faculty research fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research.

This course explores the roles of communication technologies in shaping industries and organizations, investigates how information technologies impact productivity, and determines criteria for evaluating investments in technology.
