Three Northwestern dance faculty members will showcase their original choreography at The A.W.A.R.D. (Artists With Audiences Responding to Dance) Show! 2009: Chicago June 24 through June 26 at The Dance Center of Columbia College in Chicago.
Molly Shanahan, Joel Valentin-Martinez and Meghann Wilkinson are three of 12 choreographers competing for a $10,000 prize. The winner is selected by audience vote. Tickets for each night of the competition, including the finals on June 27, are $15 and are available online.
