Inspired by Puccini’s opera La Boheme, RENT is the groundbreaking story of a group of friends struggling to survive in the Lower East Side of the 1990s.  Under the shadow of relationships, drugs and the AIDs crisis, this Pulitzer-prize winning musical directed by acclaimed Northwestern faculty member Dominic Missimi offers a heartrending and ultimately hopeful look at love and friendship in the face of illness.
