Marisol depicts a young Puerto Rican woman who struggles to maintain her personal identity while striving for success in an urban environment fraught with change and danger. The story unfolds as Marisol navigates the uncharted terrain of a new century and the more Marisol clings to her professional success for stability the further she is drawn into a battle between her perceptions of good and evil.

This 1930's hit musical, an adaptation of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors includes a range of music from gospel to blues and rock to re-interpret the 1930's swing sound. This energizing musical extravagantly mixes neon, zoot suits, platform shoes and the big band sound in the bucolic setting of a Mediterranean fi shing village. Th is production has been adapted for the Northwestern stage by Associate Professor David Bell.
