Catherine S. Carrigan

Catherine Carrigan advises undergraduate students in the departments of Radio/Television/Film and Theatre and serves as the Director of Undergraduate Programs for Radio/Television/Film. Her work in higher education as a lecturer and advisor has focused on helping students recognize their academic, personal and professional goals. She earned a law degree from the University of Michigan and worked for several years in the areas of employment law, class action defense, and general commercial litigation. For nearly ten years, Catherine co-managed Dance Dance Party Party, a freestyle dance program for women that has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, and The Guardian. More recently, she has stepped down from that role to devote more time to her new love: woodworking.
