I am an ASHA board-certified specialist in child language. I serve children ranging in age from toddlers through elementary school aged children who have difficulty learning language, have language disorders and who have language-based learning disorders. I have also completed research in teaching and learning to support my work with graduate student clinicians.

Judith Roman is an assistant clinical professor in the Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and a clinical supervisor in the Northwestern University Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning. She is a licensed speech language pathologist who is an ASHA Board Recognized Specialist in Child Language. Her background includes extensive experience with early intervention as well as preschool and school-aged children, certification in providing neuro-developmental treatment, and experience running a private practice. She has completed a fellowship year in teaching and learning and holds an SLPD degree
