The MS Health Communication curriculum integrates two streams of research—social influence and human-centered interaction design—to promote improvements in health and healthcare. It will train you to use the resources of the communication arts and sciences to:

  • improve the quality and safety of healthcare
  • improve the health of diverse populations
  • reduce healthcare costs

You’ll learn to design, produce, analyze, and evaluate policies, protocols, messages, media products, and content distribution networks for individuals, organizations, and agencies within the context of health and healthcare. These skills, and your knowledge of health outcomes and care systems, will put you in the vanguard of health professionals and increase your value to any health-related organization.
